On behalf of the Archdiocese of Chicago, congratulations on pursuing your desire to deepen your discipleship in Jesus Christ through the Sacrament of Confirmation! We are blessed to accompany you on your journey of faith formation.   

The Office of Lifelong Formation offers Adult Confirmation sessions in English and Spanish for those over the age of eighteen (18) who have celebrated their Catholic Sacraments of Baptism and Holy Communion (Eucharist). 

Adult Confirmation is currently offered virtually over Zoom from 7:00pm-9:00pm CST for nine (9) weeks on select Wednesday evenings, every Spring and Fall.

• The fee for the Adult Confirmation preparation course is $100.
• For all our Adult Confirmation sessions, certified facilitators guide candidates through prayer, engaging conversation, reflection, and small-group discussion on a variety of topics relating to the Catholic faith and personal faith development.
• You will need to locate and upload a copy of your Baptismal Certificate (and your First Communion certificate, if available) by the first week of class.

• NOTE: If your current name is different than your Baptismal name, please provide additional documentation for your Church record (i.e. Marriage License, Legal Name Change, Adoption Form).
